If you time the starfall for the beginning of the adds phase, you wont get much if any damage from the reflects, shields are not up that early.

I wouldn’t use my starfall during adds – not unless im sure that there are no reanimated adherents up. They will spell reflect that to you instantly for a lot of unnessecary damage.

I dont think you can expect to stay in on Festergut – hard modes are coming, and im sure people would rather have their healers in there

For a sec i forgot your blog Qieth!, glad to see you’re alive and kicking .

A quick-obvious tip for Deathwhisper, save your Starfall for when the adds spawn, , other than that, you really nailed most of what i do, so sad that you have to move on Fester!, it feels so good just standing at melee nuking, sup Patchwerk.

I use power aura to alert me of my starfallCD. It is a nice addon that Qieth uses, and I asked him about from his last video on the putricide kill. I have a giant snowflake pop up and a loud ring from a phone when starfall comes off CD. It’s a nice easy way to know when those 90 seconds are up. I guess I could use it for the treants as well, but I typically know the course of the fights and base when I can reuse my trees based off bosses remaining health pool. For example, I know I can use the trees three times on putricide in 10-man, once for each phase and if the we get our ooze timings just right the trees are just coming off CD right when phase 3 starts and we bloodlust.

You would see on the video that i do show everything form SSA, but thats just because i haven’t bothered to change it. I have class timers in the bottom for myself, and above my target for debuffs. The debuffs (dots) on my target is really what i watch most, to keep my dots running.

Thanks for this mate. Nice guide. I am the same as you and only have the eclipse bars up for SAA. It is too messy if you have IS and MF and FON and SF and everything else up. I tend to just know when it is time.

I don’t use any. SAA will show when treants and starfall are off cooldown, but i never really notice it there. I have sort of an internal clock, so i usually know when the CD is up on my spells.
