Well, if you have two blue sockes with +7 or +9, you would obviously go for those. I think those are pretty rare. In my BIS list, there is a total of four blue sockets with +7 or +9, but you'll only have three of them at any given point (either pants or gloves as cloth). If you don't go for nonset items, you'll be down to two.

If a blue socket bonus, it gives us 22 spell power, plus a little bit from kings. So, I suppose, you can go grab the +7 blue sockets. And if you dont, well, its a really, really, really, really, really small difference in DPS.

I can see You say we only need 2 blue gems..but what about when we already have two and we can get a soket bonus for lets say 7+ sp or even 9 Surely 12sp+9=21+10x1.1=11x0.3=3.3+21=24.3Sp +some mana regen...But chances of having 3 items with 9+sp bonus is small but what about 7+ For a 12+7=19Sp+10x1.1=11x0.3=3.3+19=22.3 do we realy wanne have 0.7sp vs the mana regen how wierd it may sound to keep intervate up for healers or to gain slightly more mana from a death?
