My guild and I downed Professor Putricide the other day, and I actually got around to record the fight. Enjoy the annotations pointing out my screw-ups!

Grats on the Putricide kill…my guild isn’t quite geared enough to down him yet. Few questions though. First, how the hell do you get Val’kyr spawns so much…I can go an entire fight and not even see one. Second, what is the addon you have that creates a bubble looking thing around you (it looks like it pops up when you eclipse)?
Its all random, really. Sometimes you are lucky with procs, sometimes you aren’t. I dont think i got THAT many more Valkyrs than usual, but i did (mistakenly) have Glyph of Starfall up, so i used that every minute – that seems to proc valkyrs a little faster.
The addon you see in the middle is Power Aura’s. You actually see several states of Power Aura. The big 2/3 circle in the bottom shows me having an eclipse. Inside of that, you will see some runes to the left and right whenever Owlkin Frenzy procs, and those two will be connected by a third when i gain Omen of Doom from tier 10 – and it shows a timer. When the big circle is extended upwards by the lines, it means i’ve popped barkskin.
Its simply a visual to quickly spot buffs. I can be looking at other things, and still notice that I proc eclipse. Its also a very fun addon

LOL..I was a moderator on prob one of most active TCG boards for 4 years before I left due to drama and issues that happened. So I know how annoying it can be/get

… Your dps seems to be fairly solid, you may want to consider using the one sided strategy ^^
The valkyr proc is totally random indeed, yesterday I had 4 Valkyrs up at once on Northrend Beasts.. On another note, in case you haven’t tried the blood queen yet – The valkyrs seem to die after a few seconds, so Nibelung isn’t an option q_q
We had very limited time on Blood Queen – we will have our first real attempts on her tonight. But from what we found doing our “lol, lets just go guys”-tries, the Valkyr’s die off almost instantly, so I’ll be swapping back to MH/OH for this. They also die quite quickly on Hodir and Vezax, in case you would wonder (we did an Ulduar run yesterday – a few guildies still need GOTUR).
Be mindfull that Starfall is great at proccing Valkyrs, so if you have a few snobolds close to the boss, you can get quite a few up with a bit of luck
I use power aura to alert me of my starfallCD. It is a nice addon that Qieth uses, and I asked him about from his last video on the putricide kill. I have a giant snowflake pop up and a loud ring from a phone when starfall comes off CD. It’s a nice easy way to know when those 90 seconds are up. I guess I could use it for the treants as well, but I typically know the course of the fights and base when I can reuse my trees based off bosses remaining health pool. For example, I know I can use the trees three times on putricide in 10-man, once for each phase and if the we get our ooze timings just right the trees are just coming off CD right when phase 3 starts and we bloodlust.
Depending on your fight duration, you can use treants four times during Professor Putricide. At the pull, 3 minutes into the fight, 6 minutes into the fight and 9 minutes into the fight, if he’s still up by then
Haha, I posted that on the wrong video, it was supposed to be on your most recent post. We have been downing him in a little under 9 minutes or so, I like the timing I use though because my trees get the BL during our burn phase.
